Tasting Notes
Complex impressions of black cherry, blueberry, plum, smoked meat, tar and anise. Medium-full body with generous fruit and mouthfeel, and very structured tannins. Bright acidity brings lift to the mid-palate and finish. Nice length. You could age this wine a further 1-3 years, or enjoy tonight with charcuterie, bison burgers or an aged beef steak off the barbecue. (VINTAGES panel, March 2012)
