Duckhorn has been producing world-class Sauvignon Blanc since 1982. They include some Semillon in the final blend (about 16% this time around), and a portion of the Sauvignon Blanc is barrel-fermented. Both these steps add greater complexity and depth to the final wine. Look for a crisp wine with a vibrant, fresh finish and tones of ripe apple, peach and pear, with tropical fruit and grass notes and an appealing mineral quality. A great match for grilled salmon or other seafood.
