Tasting Notes
Opaque ruby in the glass, this darkly brooding Carm offers waves of woodsmoke, graphite, spice box, blackberry and currants. Ripe fruit and smoky notes dance on the tongue, backed by good structure. Impressively built, it'll give pleasure tonight with steak tacos or smoked cheeses, or will evolve favourably in the cellar for 2-3 years. (VINTAGES panel, Jan. 2016)
