Pale platinum in the glass. Lively and complex notes of mineral, lime, apple, pear, and orchard blossoms. Dry, medium bodied, juicy and mouthwatering, with some residual sugar balanced by waves of brilliantly vibrant acidity. Nice, fresh finish. This is an exceptional food wine, and a great expression of Niagara terroir. Expect this to evolve nicely over the next 5+ years, or enjoy it tonight with pan-fried fish. (VINTAGES panel, Jan. 2011)
