The wine is a blend of 32% Sémillon, 31% Sauvignon Blanc, 18% Chardonnay, 15% Viognier and 4% Gewürztraminer.
Tasting Notes
Very attractive nose featuring orange blossoms, lychee, fresh apricot, tangerine, Royal Gala apple and toasty oak. Dry with an intriguing array of flavours to match the complex aromas. There is fresh and lively acidity on the mid-palate to brighten the whole package. A great example of J-L Groux's artistry as a winemaker. A terrific wine for a stuffed pork tenderloin or grilled game bird. (VINTAGES panel, Sept. 2012)
