Description
The 'G' wine as it's known at Featherstone is a benchmark for Gewürtztraminer in Niagara. It captures the typical perfumed aromas of rosewater, spices and lychee fruit leading to a dry, medium-bodied wine with a soft texture and an exotic flavour profile. This is an expressive beauty to pair with spicy, but not-too-hot Thai, Indian or Chinese dishes, or simply enjoy it as a refreshing summer sipper on the patio.
Tasting Notes
A pretty little Gewürz that makes a graceful rather than an intense introduction, with notions of citrus blossom, ginger, white roses and a hint of lychee. There's a suggestion of sweetness on the palate, which offers up ripe fruit salad and grated ginger. Enjoy with turkey or chicken breast, or a selection of milder savoury cheeses.
