Though Château Fakra's winemaking history dates back to 1985, there is actually more than 300 years of distilling history here focused on the production of Arak, Lebanon's famous aniseed-flavoured brandy. The potential presented by the Bekaa Valley's impressive terroir has made it the viticultural centre of Lebanon, and French varietals, such as the Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah and Cinsault used here, flourish. Look for impressive and intense notes of red fruit framed in a fine and elegant package.
