Tasting Notes
So quiet now, but deep, darker and more serious than the higher toned 2013, yet still so far from showing either Volnay beauty or charm. The cherries darken and the Premier Cru earthy soul rises with the fruit, part calcaire, more so marl and really structured. The tannins are finer and more seriously ingrained in this vintage, clearly stronger and fuller in longevity possibility. Keep the Clos Des Chénes faith through the exercise of patience.
