Tasting Notes
Clos du Bois, located in Geyserville, released its first wines in 1974 and is a consistent advocate for the opulent style synonymous with Alexander Valley. This fine example of Sonoma County Cabernet is structured and complex, with impressive dark cherry and berry notes mixed with vanilla, smoke and a chewy oak character. It calls out for thyme-rubbed cuts of beef, cooked rare.
