Tasting Notes
Dark ruby with a hint of an amber rim. Reticent but deep aromas and flavors of flint, plums, cassis and cocoa. A brooding, powerful wine with young, chewy but noble tannins. Finishes long with persistent notes of espresso and lavender. Lacks a little nuance to be truly memorable, but this well balanced, suave wine is a remarkable achievement in 2012. (16% alcohol).
