Description
The Giordano family has been producing wine since 1900 and is deeply rooted in tradition, but has also shown an openness to the innovations each generation has brought. This Primitivo has basked in the warm and windy climate of Puglia and is bursting with jammy fruit flavours as well as hints of figs, vanilla, tobacco and oak. Balanced by some supportive tannins, and with a long dry finish, this is a terrific wine for Italian sausages.
Tasting Notes
Big, dark and smoky with notes of charred meat and dark berry fruit. A generous mouthful with chewy tannins and a long finish. (VINTAGES panel, May 2014)
