Tasting Notes
As one would expect, this is brimming with lovely aromas of applesauce and poached pear; as one would not necessarily expect, it's also got a subtle saline, sea spray quality. It's quite dry on the palate - more dry, perhaps, than the aromas might suggest - with flavours of freshly sliced pear and apple, along with applesauce. There's a gentle warmth on the lingering finish. Serve lightly chilled. (VINTAGES panel, Oct. 2015)
