Tasting Notes
Sweet black currant, lead pencil shavings, charcoal and camphor aromas are followed by a medium-bodied, front end-loaded, dark ruby/purple-colored wine with attractive fruit, medium body, sweet tannin and a surprisingly well-balanced, long finish. This potentially outstanding wine is another example of how successful Pessac-Leognan was in 2012. Drink it over the next 12-15 years. Score - 89-91.
