This wine is made from 60% Barbera grapes and 40% Syrah grown in a vineyard that sits 300 meters above sea level and overlooks the hills surrounding Basso Monferrato. It's aged in oak for 10 months and spends another six months in bottle before release. Look for tangy red and dark berry fruit with peppery notes. Pair with agnolotti or gnocchi in tomato sauce, or grilled meats.
