Tasting Notes
This is Susana Balbo's most ambitious torront�s, and it has been made since 2010, although the official version, without the excess of toasted oak, comes from 2013. This year it has a very pronounced accent on herbal notes. It was aged for four months in barrels, which provides spices amid white fruit and a very mountain acidity. From the beginning, this torront�s has come from Altamira, and the height of that area in the Uco Valley lends it a much more ethereal, more acidic, and more herbal character.
