Tasting Notes
Bright ruby-red. Very ripe, slightly roasted aromas of raspberry, plum, molten chocolate and herbs. Plush, ripe and deep but not too sweet; in a slightly porty style and still a bit youthfully clenched. The label suggests serving this wine with chocolate desserts, and that sounds like a good call to me. Finishes with substantial broad, dusty tannins. Drinking window: 2016-2021. Score - 88+.
