Tasting Notes
Terrific Malbec from Chile with a big bouquet o' berries on the nose, plus cedar bough, cinnamon, mocha and sweet coffee. Dry, quite flavourful, and also very fresh. It comes across as a nice cross between New World and European winemaking. Very fine balance between the fruit, acid and tannins. It will age gracefully for 3-4 years, but no need to wait as it will drink beautifully tonight with lamb burgers or pepper steaks. (VINTAGES panel, June 2012)
