Description
The 2012 vintage in Victoria produced great wines across the board, including terrific Shiraz. In the Strathbogie Ranges, periods of wind and overcast skies impacted yields, but consistent and timely rainfall maintained good moisture levels in the soils, and overall conditions were so favourable that the grapes were of outstanding quality. The Stone Dwellers Shiraz will be a velvety, fruit-laden wine with touches of clove and earth framing a spicy finish.

Tasting Notes
Impressive purple-black hue and appeals from the first whiff of macerated cherries and plums laced with black licorice, cedar and patchouli with some more savoury, earthy tones. Oak a main player but has started to melt back into the wine, the palate full-bodied and succulent with velvety, powerful tannins. Drink By: 2025. Score - 92.
