Description
The G. Marquis Vineyard in Niagara-on-the-Lake is home to carefully tended 25-year-old Pinot vines and offers complex notes of red cherry, raspberry, mineral and smoke. Elegant and structured, it's a good match for mushroom risotto.

Tasting Notes
This is a well-made pinot that shows the ripe and concentrated fruit you expect from one of Niagara's warmer vintages. Everything's in place here. The fruit is layered and structured, the fruit-acid balance is right and delivers some juiciness to the texture, and the tannins are ripe and easy-going. Drink it now to 2018.
