Tasting Notes
This is a delicious, mature Spanish wine at an attractive price. Cariñena is another fast-developing Spanish region that is producing exciting wines. This award-winning Tempranillo-based example is very lively and fresh. It's filled with lovely aromas of black fruit, spring flowers, black olive and leather. Dry, almost a touch sweet at the start until a fine seam of acidity and some fleshy tannins come on to bring balance. A fine complement for rich beef stews, or roast beef with root vegetables.
