Tasting Notes
This is just a beautiful wine, silky smooth and with a fresher balance than the 2009 thanks to a slightly higher acidity. It has the most stunning presence right from the start: a coiled, young, muscular wine of substance that has more in common with the 2005 than the 2009. Richly swirling black fruits fruits provide an amazing experience in a glass, one to savour slowly. No need to think about opening any time soon. 85% new oak. Drinking window: 2020-2045. Score - 98.
