Tasting Notes
The reserve has a little more verve and life, and freshness, than the 'regular' Stone Eagle; I'd say merlot has more to offer in Niagara than cabernet sauvignon. The balance, and degree of ripeness of fruit is more comfortable, and the wood is far better integrated. Length is excellent. Very fine wine. Drink or hold until 2025 or so. Score - 93.
